After living abroad for 10 years and returning to the UK as a single woman, I soon discovered that the old school face-to-face way of meeting people had moved online.

I spent months considering whether to give them a go, but did I really want to spend that much time online chatting to random strangers? I soon knew they didn't appeal to me as I do think of myself as more of an in-person kind of girl.

Now I'm not knocking them at all as they are on the whole successful but, the thought of seeing a face and swiping "Yes or No" just doesn't float my boat. Then there's the time it takes up with the random messaging, I mean what's a girl to do, chat for weeks before a meet up and then what? What if there's no spark or chemistry and then how much time is that just wasted?

I was certain I wasn't the only one who prefers to meet people in person. I wanted the initial spark and chemistry, and from there Single Approach® was born.
